On the first day of Sumba Tour Package 6 Días 5 Noches, you will be picked up at Tambolaka Airport and transferred to your hotel and get ready to explore on your first day.

On the first day of the 6-day Sumba Island Tour, we will visit Ratenggaro, a traditional village in Kodi Bangedo District, Southwest Sumba. Known for its unique culture and stunning scenery, Ratenggaro is home to the Sumbanese people, who practice the Marapu belief system.

The village overlooks a stunning beach where the Wanokaka River meets the Indian Ocean. Visitors can explore ancient megalithic tombs, some over 4,500 años, and experience traditional pasola rituals while enjoying horseback rides along Sumba’s rugged coastline.

Mandorak Beach

After the village, we will visit Mandorak Beach in Southwest Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Oriental. This hidden paradise is known for its stunning turquoise waters, powdery white sand, and dramatic limestone cliffs, offering a secluded and unspoiled atmosphere.

Its remote location ensures minimal crowds, and it’s accessible via a scenic hike or boat ride, enhancing its adventurous appeal.

Laguna de la semana

Laguna de la semana, or Danau Weekuri, is a beautiful saltwater lagoon in Kalenarongo Village, Kodi Utara District, Southwest Sumba, Indonesia. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and unique ecosystem, it’s a popular tourist spot. The lagoon is formed by seawater seeping through coral cliffs, offering a calm, shallow swimming area perfect for relaxation and adventure.

Día 2 Sumba Occidental

On the second day of the 6-Day Sumba Island tour, we will visit the beautiful waterfall and the traditional village.

Waikelo Sawah Cascada

Waikelo Sawah waterfall in West Sumba, Indonesia. This unique waterfall, sourced from an irrigation tunnel, flows into a calm pool surrounded by lush greenery. It not only offers a beautiful spot for swimming but also provides water for local rice fields. Waikelo Sawah is a hidden gem showcasing the charm of Sumba.

Our next stop on the 6-day, 5-night Sumba Tour is Tarung Village. This village is located in West Sumba Regency, Nusa Tenggara Oriental. It is known for its rich culture and history, which draw visitors to its unique traditions, arquitectura, and way of life.

Tarung Village has traditional Sumbanese houses called *Uma*. These are stilt houses with tall thatched roofs.

The village is also home to ancient megalithic tombs. These tombs are important in Sumbanese culture, used in traditional ceremonies, and show the community’s strong connection to their ancestors.

Pasola Lamboya is a cultural tradition in West Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Oriental, honoring the Marapu faith. Held annually in February or March at Hoba Kalla Field, it features a symbolic battle between two groups of horsemen with blunt wooden spears.

The term “Pasola” comes from the local word for spear, “sola.” This ritual aims to invoke land fertility, bountiful harvests, and harmony between humans and nature. It also serves as a symbolic sacrifice to release negative emotions and prepare the community for the planting season.

Día 3 Sumba Occidental

On day three of Sumba Tour Package 6D 5N, we explored West Sumba. This time, we will go to several beautiful places like Lapopu Waterfall, Praijing Village, and also Watu Bella Beach.

Cascada Lapopu

Cascada Lapopu, located on Sumba Island in East Nusa Tenggara, is one of the tallest waterfalls in the region, cascading approximately 90 meters into a clear turquoise pool. Situated in Manupeu Tanah Daru National Park, it’s surrounded by lush tropical forests, creating a serene atmosphere.

Accessing the waterfall involves a scenic drive followed by a moderate 500-meter trek along the Lapopu River, which includes a rocky path and a simple wooden bridge, so sturdy footwear is recommended.

Lapopu Waterfall is a stunning representation of Sumba’s natural beauty and a must-visit for travelers.

Pueblo de praiijing

Kampung Adat Praijing, also known as Prai Ijing Traditional Village, is located in Desa Tebara, Waikabubak, Regencia de Sumba Occidental, Provincia de Nusa Tenggara Oriental, Indonesia. This cultural village is approximately 3 km from the center of Waikabubak and is renowned for its rich cultural heritage and traditional architecture.

The village features 38 casas tradicionales, known as Uma Bokulu (big house) and Uma Mbatangu (tower house), constructed from megalithic stones. These structures are elevated and have tiered roofs resembling towers, reflecting the unique architectural style of the Sumba culture.

Kampung Adat Praijing not only serves as a tourist attraction but also stands as a testament to the enduring cultural heritage of the Sumba people.

Gente Bella Beach

Watu Bella is Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Oriental. Watu Bella Beach is a hidden gem known for its dramatic cliffs, turquoise waters, and pristine white sand. This secluded beach offers a peaceful escape with breathtaking views, making it a must-visit destination for nature lovers and adventure seekers.

This beach has some unique rock formations. The beach features limestone cliffs and large boulders, creating a picturesque landscape.

It also has crystal clear waters. The turquoise sea is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. This beach offers a tranquil place and peaceful environment, less touristy to other beaches in Sumba. Watu Bella Beach is a true paradise for those looking to experience Sumba’s raw natural beauty.

Día 4 Sumba este

On day four of Sumba Island Tour 6 Días, we will explore East Sumba and its hill. It is well known for it’s beautiful hill and serene traditional village.

Wairinding Hill

Wairinding Hill, or Bukit Warinding, is a stunning natural tourist destination in East Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Oriental. Known for its sweeping views, the hill showcases lush greenery in the rainy season and a golden brown landscape in the dry season. Visitors are drawn to the picturesque, undulating hills, especially during sunrise and sunset when the sky’s colors enhance the scenery.

It’s a perfect spot for fresh air, photography, or simply enjoying the tranquility of nature, making it a must-visit for anyone exploring Sumba.

Pueblo de prailiu

Prailiu is one of the traditional villages located in East Sumba Regency, Nusa Tenggara Oriental. The village is famous for its distinctive Sumbanese traditional houses, beautiful ikat weaving culture, and traditions that are still well-preserved by the local community.

Prailiu is unique because it has Sumba traditional house. The traditional house in Prailiu has a high, tower-shaped roof called Uma Mbatangu. This shape symbolizes human connection with ancestors and the spiritual world.

Besides the traditional house, it also has Megalithic stone tombs. In this village, there are still megalithic stone tombs that are evidence of ancestral burial traditions that have been going on since ancient times.

Atardecer en Walakiri

Walakiri Beach is one of the most unique beaches in East Sumba, Nusa Tenggara Oriental, known for its stunning sunset views. What makes the sunset at Walakiri Beach so special is the presence of dwarf mangrove trees that line the shore.

On the fifth day of Sumba Island Tour 6 días, we will explore East Sumba for more waterfalls, savanna, and hills.

Cascada Tanggedu

Cascada Tanggedu, located in East Sumba, Indonesia, is a stunning natural attraction known for its unique geological features and breathtaking scenery.

Tanggedu Waterfall is situated approximately 46 kilometers northeast of Waingapu, the capital of East Sumba Regency. The waterfall is part of Tanggedu Village in the Kanatang District.

The waterfall cascades from a height of about 8 meters into crystal-clear turquoise pools below. The surrounding rock formations resemble those of the Grand Canyon, earning it the nickname “the Grand Canyon of East Sumba” due to its striking limestone cliffs

Tanggedu Waterfall is a popular spot for various activities such as swimming, body rafting, and cliff jumping. The natural pools are inviting for relaxation and photography enthusiasts looking to capture the stunning scenery

Puru Kambera Savanna

Puru Kambera Savanna, located on Sumba Island in East Nusa Tenggara, boasts breathtaking landscapes of vast grasslands and rolling hills, which are especially stunning at sunrise and sunset. Its beauty is often likened to exotic African scenery.

The savanna’s grass changes with the seasons: it blooms vibrant green during the rainy season (December- Abril) and turns a golden hue in the dry season (May- Noviembre), offering dramatic views.

It’s also home to wild horses that roam freely, enhancing the adventurous feel of the area, alongside other farm animals like cows and buffaloes grazing nearby..

Día 6 Departure
