Prehliadka Sumba 6 Days Program

Deň 1 – Tambolaka Airport (TMC) – Ratenggaro Village – Bawana Beach

Arriving at Sumba Island airport of Tambolaka. Picked up by our driver at arrival gate. Start the Sumba Tour 6 Days Program by visiting Ratenggaro village; old traditional village with highroof as a typical of Sumba Village and also old stone tombs.

This traditional village has 304 stone tombs. Po tom, continue to enjoy the sunset at beautiful coastline beach with white sand beach of Bawana. Check in at Hotel in Waitabula.

Deň 2 – Weekuri Lagoon – Praiijing Village – Lamboya – Watubelah Beach

Depart from your hotel to Kodi district. Visit Weekuri Lagoon; the salt lake Separated by craggy cliffs, the spectacular turquoise tidal lagoon sits 20 metres from the sea. Continue your journey to west Sumba, visit Praijing village; a traditional village lived by sumbanese, here you can see local people activities.

Drive to south of Sumba, stopover to see Pasola field and spectacular panorama. Visit Watu Belah Beach with its white sand beach and beautiful limestone fragments. Stay and overnight in Waikabubak.

Deň 3 – Anakalang – Tarimbang Beach – Waingapu

Depart from your hotel in the morning, drive to East Sumba. Stopover in Anakalang to visit Megalithic Royal Grave Stone. Drive to Tarimbang Beach it’s a long white sand beach and located in a remote area, 2,5 hours from Waingapu.

On the way will be treated to a unique view some cows and wild horses are in the savannah. Continue your journey to Waingapu. Stay and overnight in Waingapu.

Deň 4 – Prailiu Village – Mauliru Hill – Rende Village – Walakiri Sunset

Depart in the morning to visit Prailiu Village; see local weaving in unique pattern, dyed with natural dyes and hand woven to create unique and eye catching pieces. Pure cotton thread is mostly purchased, but if you are lucky you may come across pieces made from hand spun cotton.

Stopover in Mauliru hill and continue to Rende Village. Rende Village ; is one village with some special characteristics, the traditional Sumbanese houses and large tombs that are built in this village. Here also there in main houses wall are made by buffalo skin. Enjoy the sunset in Walakiri Beach. After that, back to Waingapu check in at hotel, dinner and free program.

Deň 5 – Purukambera – Tanggedu Waterfall – Walakiri Beach

Continue your journey in Sumba Island Tour on day 5. Drive to Purukambera : a typical savannah of Sumba island, here also you can found a bunch of horses that roam the savannah. Drive to Tanggedu Village, 45 minutes trekking to reach Tanggedu Waterfall. Relaxing, swimming and have your lunch (lunch box). Back to hotel in Waingapu.

Deň 6 – Local Market – Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport (WGP)

Depart from your hotel to visit local market. Here you can see local activities and selling woven fabric of Sumbanese. Airport transfer out and the Sumba Tour 6 Days Program finish.
