Sumba Tour 5 Days Program:

Day 1 – Umbu Mehang Kunda Airport (WGP) – Mauliru Hill – Prailiu Village – Walakiri Sunset

Arrive at Umbu Mehang Kunda Sumba Airport. Start the tour visit Mauliru Hill to see beautiful panorama or savannah. Continue to visit Prailiu Village; see local weaving in unique pattern, dyed with natural dyes and hand woven to create unique and eye catching pieces.

Pure cotton thread is mostly purchased, but if you are lucky you may come across pieces made from hand spun cotton. Enjoy the sunset in Walakiri Beach. Afterthat, back to Waingapu check in at hotel, dinner and free program.

Day 2 – Purukambera – Tanggedu Waterfall

Continue your journey in Sumba Island Tour on day 3. Drive to Purukambera : a typical savannah of

Sumba island, here also you can found a bunch of horses that roam the savannah. Drive to Tanggedu Village, 45 minutes trekking to reach Tanggedu Waterfall. Relaxing, swimming and have your lunch (lunch box). Back to hotel, late afternoon visit local market to see local people activities.

Day 3 – Anakalang – Praiijing Village – Lapopu Waterfall – Watu Belah Beach – Waikabubak

Depart from your hotel, drive to West Sumba. On the way stopover at Anakalalang to see Megalithic Royal Grave Stone. Afterthat visit Praiijing village on the of hiil with Sumbanese structure village and way of life.

Continue visit Lapopu waterfall located in rainy forest a part of Manupeu Tanah Daru National Park. Drive to south of Sumba, stopover at Lamboya, a spectacular view of ricefiled and coastline from the top. Visit Watubelah Beach, white sand beach and clear water. Check in at hotel in Waikabubak.

Day 4 – Tarung Village – Ratenggaro Village – Weekuri Lagoon – Waitabula

Sumba Tour 5 Days continue the journey in the morning from Waikabubak, first visit Tarung Village near the town of Waikabubak. Drive to southwest of Sumba, visit Ratenggaro Village ; old traditional village with highroof as a typical of Sumba Village and also old stone tombs.

This traditional village has 304 stone tombs. Afterthat, continue to weekuri Lagoon; ; the salt lake Separated by craggy cliffs, the spectacular turquoise tidal lagoon sits 20 metres from the sea. Stay and overnight at hotel in Waitabula.
